Why root canal treatment?
Inflammation in the root of the tooth does not only cause pain, it also compromises the preservation of the tooth and can lead to complications.
It is therefore important that an inflamed root is quickly cleaned from invaded bacteria. Studies show that professional endodontic treatment removes the infection in the tooth effectively. The restored tooth can then be preserved for as long as other teeth - ideally for a lifetime.
Today, a branched or previously damaged root canal system can also be successfully treated with modern methods of endodontics. The infected tissue is removed, the root canals are disinfected and finally sealed against bacteria.
What is special in our practice is the so-called micro-endodontic approach. A special microscope (Zeiss) enables us to perform root canal treatments at very high magnifications. Studies show that the best results are achieved with this method.
